How do I calculate my puppy’s age in weeks?
Count the days since birth and divide by seven. This tool does it automatically from the birthdate you enter, then matches that week to a developmental stage for your puppy’s size.
Does puppy development speed depend on breed size?
Yes, especially from around week 5 onward. Toy and small breeds reach puberty and adolescence earlier than medium and large breeds, so the same calendar week can mean a different stage depending on size.
